WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a gentle practice that strengthens a body’s capacity for restoration and healing.
It is excellent for people who are:
Recovering from acute stress, injury or burnout;
Working with chronic illnesses, pain, and fatigue.
A body can hold distress for years. Reiki is a transformative modality that supports release and renewal.

I am an author, an advocate, and have been practicing Reiki since 1999.
The profound healing Reiki has offered my life, and the lives of the people I have worked with, has never ceased to amaze me: from accelerating the healing back injuries and broken bones to reducing symptoms of conditions such as arthritis, lyme, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue.
I am acutely aware of how important it is for people to have safe spaces to heal. As a practitioner, I am committed to building these spaces. I will take your symptoms seriously, without judgement.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN A SESSION?
Reiki sessions take place on a massage table and begin with the practitioner gently placing their hands on the person's head.
People describe a range of experiences, some experience Reiki as a wash of warm and healing water, others describe the feeling as akin to lying in warm sun.
The practitioner will move over the meridians, or energy lines, of the body, and the energy will go where it is most needed for the individual.
At the end of a session, people describe having less pain and stress and greater peace and relaxation.
The long term benefits outweigh this. By supporting the body's capacity to heal, people have experienced a reduction in symptoms of both chronic and acute conditions and renewed energy.

One Session: $50.00
Package of Five: $200.00
Hours:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays:
11am-6pm
Sundays:
1pm-4pm
I require 24 hours notice for cancellations.
ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
My reiki space is up one step. I am occasionally able to offer sessions in client's homes in order to ensure accessibility for those for whom the step would be a barrier. Please contact me for details.
I provide a fragrance-free space, please refrain from wearing fragranced products to your sessions.
